  1. This directory contains the Geomview manual and various other pieces
  2. of documentation.

  4. NOTE: In addition to the PostScript and Info copies of the manual
  5. here, a dvi version is available separately via ftp from geom.umn.edu
  6. in the file "manual.tar.Z" in the "software/pub/geomview/pieces"
  7. directory.  This may be useful for on-line viewing with a dvi
  8. previewer.

  10. geomview.ps:
  11.     Printer-ready PostScript copy of the manual.  It's roughly 125
  12.     pages and contains figures, so it may take a while to print.
  13.  
  14. geomview,geomview-*
  15.     The GNU Info versions of the manual.  You can install these in
  16.     your GNU Emacs Info tree.
  17.  
  18. example*.c:
  19.     Sample external modules.  These are described in the manual.

  21. oogltour:
  22.     A quick tour through the sorts of geometry which are supported
  23.     by OOGL.
  24.  
  25. OOGL.m.doc:
  26.     Documentation for the Mathematica-to-Geomview conversion
  27.     packages.  This is excerpted from the manual.

  30.     A tutorial for the 4dview external module.

  33.     An article that appeared in an issue of the Geometry Center
  34.     newsletter announcing the first release of Geomview, in
  35.     January of 1991.
